Find yourself wanting to go to social events with individuals who share similar cultural views? Perhaps you are new to Bristol and looking fun cultural activities?
This group is for BAME people of the South West.
Some of the events to expect are day trips out to concerts, restaurants, comedy shows, cinema, theatre, BBQs and more. We have a keen interest in events related to the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, this will include panels, movies/ documentaries, and traditional festivals.
We welcome all good people!
The aim of the group is to bring people together as a collective.
Got an idea, suggestion or an event? We encourage our members to become involved in the group. Just message one of the leadership team - there are so many events going on and we don’t see them all.
General Rules:-
- A clear profile picture of yourself is required to join.
- Both Meetup and Zoom cost to use them therefore The BME Collective requires members to pay an annual Meetup membership fee of £2.00.
In PayPal please choose the 'friends and family' and use slks@hotmail.co.uk to make all payments. - Some events will have a RSVP charge, please be aware there may be additional costs for ticketed events hosted/created by 3rd parties.
- We ask that all members of the group are respectful and mindful of their behaviour.
