Anderson Community Schools to provide incentive for students fully vaccinated against COVID-19

ANDERSON - School districts across the country are encouraged to use emergency COVID-19 relief money to create incentives to boost the number of vaccinated students. As a result, Anderson Community Schools (ACS) is providing students that get fully vaccinated with their choice of prizes.

In order to receive their choice of a prize, fully vaccinated students must complete an online claim form found here. To complete the form, students must log into their ACS email account. As part of the form, students will be required to upload a photo of each side of their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card.

Once the form has been reviewed, and the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card verified, students will be sent an email with their choice of prize options. Options include: school spirit wear, or a $50 shopping spree on the Scholastic or Learning Resources websites.

It is required that students under the age of 18 have parent or guardian consent prior to getting the COVID-19 vaccine. While Anderson Community Schools strongly encourages students ages 5 years of age and older to get the COVID-19 vaccine, it remains optional.
