Transition to Plan 1- Tomorrow
Dear North Olmsted Families,
This is a reminder that tomorrow, March 1st, the district will be in Plan 1 - all in. We are all looking forward to having our students return to in person learning five days a week. Starting and ending times will remain the same. Kindergarten will continue to be half day for the remainder of the school year. The preschool schedule will remain unchanged and preschool students will follow the current schedule of four days a week. Students in the Online Academy will remain in the Online Academy for the remainder of the second semester.
As we transition to Plan 1 we want to remind our families of our safety protocols. Families are still required to monitor their student(s) daily for any possible symptoms of COVID-19 prior to sending their student(s) to school. Families will need to check their student(s) temperature daily. Any student who has a fever of 100.4 F or higher, or experiencing one or more of the COVID-19 symptoms must remain home until they are symptom free. All school personnel will follow these same symptom check requirements.
It’s important that we continue to follow these protocols to ensure the safety of our entire school community. All of the safety protocols can be found in the Restart Plan which is available on the district website and linked below.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the district or your building principal with any questions you have.
Sincerely,
Michael E. Zalar, Ph.D.
